Tol-Timpinen

There's a tempest in yon horned moon,
And lightning in yon cloud,
And hard the music, mariners,
The wind is piping loud;
The wind is piping loud, my boys!
The lightning flashes free,
While the hollow oak our palace is,
Our heritage the sea.

An Apt Comparison?

Real Men use Windows.

Meaning Apple belongs to the Elves.

Take a moment to think about it. Really, now.

Windows:
- Prominent.
- Common.
- Has many accessories, not all of which are necessary.
- Flamboyant and often bulky.
- Relies often on brute force and monopoly.
- However, also contains some attributes (e.g. imaging programs and freeware) that can be more powerful or generally more useful than its Macintosh counterpart.
- The logo is a flag.

Apple:
- Understated.
- More difficult to find.
- Has enough bells and trinkets to be fanciful, but is not overloaded with extraneous gear.
- Products and programs alike are small and streamlined.
- Relies on accuracy and quality.
- Has been nearly overridden by its opponent (even though it is making a comeback), and in popular areas such as gaming, the brand is admittedly weak.
- The logo is a natural image: an apple.

How did I not see this before?

Which makes me wonder. What system did Aragorn use? Being a Man and all, but brought up by Elves. There's a conversation I'd like to see. Elrond and Gandalf (I'm assuming the Wizards would take the part of Men, being more akin to the latter in features and such) fighting it out over which operating system to give to the future King.
